Local ceramicist Molly Sanyour is putting a contemporary twist on the ancient craft of creating with clay and the constant exploration of styles and technique, in which one can create, are just part of what excites me most about clay. Molly captured the essence of Quirk with these adorable "Q" ornaments. Each one varies slightly in color, as they are handmade.  2.5 x 2.5" ceramic "Q" with pink bow

"Each print starts as a drawing on newsprint. I then trace the individual shapes onto tracing paper and cut them out with an x-acto knife. I use a brayer to ink the shape and then transfer it to the paper. Each print is one of a kind and takes on its own character through the mono-type printing process. I love the texture each shape creates from the paper." Dimensions: 20"x24"
